Our Spring irrigation start-up service includes...

Rain Sensor
Watering your lawn when it’s raining is silly, right? Why spend money on water when Mother Nature is already doing the work for you? A rain sensor will automatically shut off your irrigation system when it rains, which is a great cost-saving tool for your home, and it is environmentally friendly, too!
The cost of city water today is steep, and so in just a short time a rain sensor will more than pay for itself. Call our office for availability and pricing for a Hunter-brand wireless rain sensor that can be adapted to most sprinkler controllers. All irrigation systems installed after 2003 are required to have a rain sensor, so if you have one, it is a good idea to make sure it’s working. Let us check it out for you when we start-up your irrigation system and we’ll make sure you are all set for this year’s lawn season!
Fall Blow-out (winterization)
In October, we also offer an irrigation blow-out service that will winterize your irrigation system by clearing any excess water out of your irrigation lines. Blowing out an irrigation system is an important step in preventing water from freezing in the lines. We recommend having irrigation blow-out services completed in the month of October. If you cannot be home during the winterization service, that is not a problem, we can work with you. If you discover that a repair is needed to your irrigation system at the time of the blow-out, we will make a note of the needed repair and add it to our list of things to do for spring. Typically, because winterization is a race against the snow, we recommend waiting until spring for repairs, that way we can ensure that all of our customers have their irrigation lines blown-out before the winter arrives.
